The city Füssen in the Allgaeu

The picturesque city of Füssen is located at the "Romantische Straße" directly at the edge of alps of Allgaeu and Ammergau at a height of 800 metres. Füssen ist he perfect starting point for exploring culture, nature and sports in the area oft he Allgaeu.

The romantic city is known for ist direct closeness to the famous castles Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau. These two are one of the highlights a visit to the Allgaeu can provide.

Above Bad Faulenbach you will find the "Alatsee“ located. The lake will be reached after a short uproad walk. During summertime the natural pools at "Mittersee" and "Obersee" are popular destinations for families.

Since the Roman period Bad Faulenbach is a mud bath and a Kneipp health resort. This spot offers excellent possibilities for helping with rheumatic diseases, women issues, urological diseases, skin diseases, metabolic diseases and connective tissue diseases.

Thanks to its romantic location with direct view to the Allgaeu Alps Hopfen am See is a wonderful spot for a relaxing holiday especially for families with children. At the flat shore you can enjoy the sun, swim in the lido or cross the lake by pedal boat, by rowboat or by sailboat.

Weißensee is a climatic health resort with a idyllic view at the Allgaeu mountains. The same named lake is embedded romantically in the picturesqued landscape of the foothills of the Allgaeu Alps. The lake is outstanding by its shore which is fully accessible. Furthermore the lake is priced as a great family vacation spot by "ADAC".

Especially for families with children the Weißensee offers a lot of fun. In the summertime the flat shore and the pleasant water temperatures are appreciated. The outdoor pool with connected children´s playground drives out boredom.

In the wintertime you can chose between spacious walking paths, 40 km of cross-country ski runs in outstanding nature, Ski lifts, ice skating or curling. Afterwards you can enjoy a warm hunter tea in one of the cosy pubs.
