Maximilian room


Emperor Maximilian I. visiting Füssen

Maximilian had been roman-german emperor and was King of Hungary, Dalmatia and Croatia.
Like every other german ruler he was reigning out from horse.
The Habsburg one had been visiting Füssen often: To sum up more than 30 visits.

During this time the city Lech had been centre of the empire.
While staying at the episcopal castle called "Hohes Schloss"
Maximilian was reigning from there and was having world politics.

The room has been dedicated to emperor Maximilian I.

Enjoy the chivalrous atmosphere in here. The traditional curtain showing the former coat of arms with the long-necked middle ages double eagle is decorating the room.

At the magnificent table can be seated 10 persons.
